The local population and tourists adore traditional national dishes: khachapuri, khinkali, mtsvadi (shish kebab), phali, lobio, chakapuli, chashushuli, eggplant with nuts, the national sweetness "Churchkhela", made from a mixture of grape juice and flour "Pelamushi".
